Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to develop 100 new parks across Hyderabad. 30 locations have been identified where as, another 70 are yet to be identified.
These parks will be set up at an estimated cost of Rs.100 crore in all the circles of GHMC. Damodar V, Director, (Urban Biodiversity Department), GHMC, told that the project will be executed during the financial year 2017-18.
As reported by the Times of India, all the parks will have walking paths, plantations and benches. Washrooms, recreational rooms and additional amenities will be thrown in at certain locations, depending on the space allocated for the park.
