100 Minority candidates selected for Civil Service Coaching

Hyderabad: Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Telangana State has selected 100 minority candidates for offering coaching for Civil Service Examination. The admission process of these candidates would be completed by 15th July.

It may be mentioned that Govt. of Telangana is offering free coaching for minority candidate. Mr. A.K. Khan, Advisor to Govt. for Minority affairs has been taking special interest in providing coaching to these candidates. In addition to previously selected three coaching centers, three more coaching centers have been identified for coaching program.

The committee consisting of Mr. Rahul Bujja, IAS, Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim, IPS and Mr. Jewel David will submit its report within a week.

It may be mentioned that last year, minority students were admitted in three study circles namely, RC Reddy, Hyderabad Study Circle and Brain Tree. Mr. A.K. Khan told that the selected candidate have the option to seek admission in any of the selected coaching centers for which Govt. will pay the entire fee.

It may be noted that Center for Educational Development of Minorities, Nizam College, OU conducted entrance test in which 329 students participated. From Hyderabad city, 189 candidates wrote the test. It is expected that with the addition of new coaching centers, the performance of the candidates would improve.
