In a special drive conducted by the Hyderabad City police to curb racing fascination among bike riders, some 100 bikers, including 50 minors were taken into the custody for indulging in rash driving and racing on the Necklace Road on Sunday.
“As complaints flooded from the walkers and residents over bike racing activities on the Necklace road, we conducted a special drive on morning hours on Sunday and intercepted 102 bikers indulging in racing. Among them 50 were minors. They were given proper counseling in the presence of their parents and let off with a warning”, said a police officer. (NSS)
