Bhopal, December 14: Ten students were injured today when a school bus carrying them hit a tree near the road side at Eintkhedi area here, police said. The students of D C Convent School, Lambakheda, were on way to the school when the mishap occurred, Gunga Police Station House Officer Alok Shrivastava said, adding ten students suffered minor injuries in the incident.
According to initial reports, the mishap may have occurred due to failure of brakes or after a tyre got punctured, Shrivastava said. A case has been registered and the bus has been impounded, police said.
