Hyderabad, February 12: Mr. Zahid Ali Khan editor Siasat daily announced that 10 SSC passed students will be awarded scholarships by Siasat daily. Siasat daily has taken the decision to persuade minority students towards education and to promote strive for excellence in the competitive era. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan was addressing release function of Question bank for SSC students here at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall on Friday.
Maulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani (Khusro Pasha) Chairperson Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Board participated the function as Chief Guest.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan declared the social and economic backwardness of minorities as the outcome of lack of education. He said the 60 year long history witnesses that lack of education has been the cause of Muslims’ backwardness. If Muslims get educated then all the problems would be solved.
He told that to create educational awareness among students and with the motive of their guidance for success in examinations Siasat daily had initiated a movement 10 years ago and guidance is provided for various examinations in this connection.
He said ‘Question banks for SCC have already been released in Urdu and Telugu while the question bank in English is being released today.’
He urged the students to work hard for the examinations since SSC exam is the turning point in the educational life of every student.
He asserted ‘though huge expenditure was incurred during the publication of English Question bank comprising of 516 pages but what is important for Siasat is that students should read the question bank and achieve better results then only our expectations are fulfilled.’
