Jammu, March 15: At least 10 people were killed and 20 others injured when an overloaded mini bus skidded off the road and rolled down into a 400 feet deep gorge near a tourist resort in Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday.
The mini bus, having a capacity of 16 passengers, was carrying around 30 people. The accident took place 130 km from here at around 11.30 a.m., police said.
The mini bus, on its way to Chenani, skidded off the road near the Sudh Mahadev resort soon after starting the journey.
Police said the injured were rescued and airlifted to Jammu. Some among the 20 injured were critical, the police said in Jammu.
