Nahan: One person was killed and three others were injured when a dilapidated building collapsed in Trilokpur village, about 25 km from here, today.
The old and worn-out structure was being used as a shop and rented out to the affected persons for business activities during the Navratri fair at the ancient shrine of Tripura Bala Sundri located in the village, police said.
Additional SP Vinod Kumar Dhiman told PTI that after receiving information, police with the help of locals carried out the rescue work and rushed the four injured persons to a local hospital in Kala Amb where one among them was declared brought dead, while other three were undergoing treatment and were out of danger.
The deceased has been identified as Lakshman Singh (21), a resident of Haryana.
A case has been registered against the owner of the building and investigation is on, police added.
