Unknown miscreants attacked a Muslim man with sharp weapons at Phool Bagh area of old city. The victim sustained serious injuries. On the receipt of information police immediately sprung into action and strict vigilance has been maintained in old city.
It is said that 5 to 6 persons belonging to Sikh community were standing at a wine shop located at Falaknuma after having drinks. They made a fatal attack at one Syed Aleem (42) who was passing by. Syed Aleem sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a corporate hospital at Kanchan Bagh.
Syed Aleem is the resident of Kandikal gate and is a hotel owner. He was returning to his house at Phool Bagh when he was attacked by the persons belonging to Sikh community.
