Hyderabad: Due to non-issuance of Minority Welfare budget by Telangana government nearly 1.5 applicants remained deprived of the benefit of bank-linked-loan-cum-subsidy scheme. Government had announced to provide 5 lakh subsidy during the current year. 135906 applications were submitted for the scheme. Government had allocated 105 Cr budget for the scheme. As per government data 75 Cr were issued and Minority Finance Corporation spent 34 Cr 50 lakh rupees. Issue of further 40.5 Cr is still pending. Minority Finance Corporation had set the target of providing subsidy to 8153 candidates but more than 1.5 lakh applications have been received.
