Average age of women who undergo nip ‘n’ tuck has dropped to 21, a new poll has revealed.

According to a survey by online women’s magazine SoFeminine.co.uk, nearly 20 per cent of women under the age of 20 have considered surgery, compared to just one in nine aged 50 or above, Metro.co.uk reported.

Botox was found to be the most popular form of cosmetic treatment, and accounted for 25 per cent surgical procedures among the 1,042 women surveyed.

Breast enlargement was placed second at 23 per cent, while tummy tucks stood at 16 per cent.

The mother-of-four from Waikato region reached 500 km about 8.35 p.m. Sunday after running for more than 86 hours, breaking the women’s world record for distance running with no sleep.

Several girls in their early teens are “terrified” about gaining weight, it has been revealed.

According to a UK study looking for warning signs of eating disorders, 10 percent of 13-year-old girls fear gaining weight, and doctors admitted that they were “worried” about the high degree of weight fixation found in young girls, the BBC reported.

Eating disorders, such as anorexia, tend to start in the mid-teenage years, and the study has also revealed that 5 percent of boys belonging to the same age group were fearful of getting fat.

A new author has been tapped to continue ‘ The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ series, as it’s original creator Stieg Larsson passed away in 2004.

According to reports, Swedish publish Norstedts announced that a deal was made with author David Lagercrantz to continue the adventures of Mikael Blomqvist and Lisbeth Salander, the New York Daily News reported.
