Mumbai, June 11: A local court in Barabanki dismissed a petition seeking registration of a criminal case against actor Amitabh Bachchan. The case was sought to be registered by a woman village head of Daulatpur village , who demanded action against Bachchan for allegedly “defrauding and cheating” the local population by not honouring his commitment of building a women’s college there.

Gandhinagar, June 11: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan wants Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to see and give his views on his recently-released film Rajneeti. The two met at the state secretariat on Thursday.
Devgan met Modi in a bid to explore the possibility of setting up a solar power project in the state, an official aware of the developments said.
The actor was all praise for his leadership qualities and style of governance and extended his greetings on the occasion of the state’s golden jubilee, he said.
