“The I Am Woman” hitmaker, who has retired from music since releasing her Grammy-winning hit in 1970, was left shocked during a recent shopping trip for innerwear as the store’s selection was too racy. And Reddy blames the Madonna for inspiring girls to dress like strippers.

“I was in London earlier this year, and… I go into the women’s lingerie department, and they’ve got pasties – you know, like strippers wear,” Reddy said.

The 22-year-old was allegedly attacked by her two family members at her home in Manchester in May this year, reports contactmusic.com.

Her father and brother allegedly began arguing with Afshan over her boyfriend and demanded she should end the relationship. When she refused, they attacked and left her badly bruised.

“Films don’t change lives, nor are they made to change anything, their only purpose is to entertain. Cinema is a medium which makes you forget your worries and present a world which you can never be a part of,” Sajid told PTI.

According to Sajid, this is the reason why films which have been hugely successful are a figment of imagination.

Gushes the actress, “So many people dream of directing Salman and I have the opportunity to do so in my first film.” Khan has promised to shoot for the movie after returns from Sri Lanka where he is currently filming for Ready.

“I told him that I was turning producer-director and gave him a brief outline of the story. I asked him if he’d do a special appearance, he readily agreed,” says Deepshikha.
