YSRCP calls for AP Bandh on Aug 29

The YSR Congress Party has given a call for State-wide bandh on August 29 seeking Special Status for Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to media persons after releasing the bandh posters here on Tuesday, YSRCP leader Umareddy Venkateshwarulu accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of mortgaging the interest of Andhra Pradesh with the Centre for political gains. He said even after 14 months, the TDP Government failed to pressurise the Centre to grant Special Status for AP despite being a part of BJP-led NDA Government.

YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has also appealed to the people to participate in the AP bandh and make it a success. (INN)
