New Delhi:Youth Congress workers on Wednesday staged a protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Government outside the Parliament.
The protestors shouted slogans denouncing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and carried placards with messages highlighting scams in BJP-ruled states.
The police had to use water canon to disperse the agitators, who tried to cross the barricades placed to contain them.
“We are protesting against the way scams are taking place in the country in the last one year. The biggest scam since independence is Vyapam scam, and Prime Minister Modi is silent about it. We want that Shivraj Singh Chouhan should resign. Sushma Swaraj should tender her resignation for helping Lalit Modi,” said one of the protestors.
“Pankaja Munde should resign as she is involved in chikki scam. Vasundhara Raje should also resign and Prime Minister should break his silence,” he added. (ANI)
