Nearly 25 activists of Telangana Youth Congress were taken into custody when they tried to barge into the State Secretariat during Telangana Bandh on Saturday.
The activists raised slogans against the TRS Government and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for not agreeing to demand of opposition parties to pay crop loan waiver dues at one go. The Youth Congress workers also tried to burn KCR’s effigy. However, the security personnel swung into action and foiled their bid. They were arrested and shifted to a shifted station. (INN)
