Young Faizan launches awareness campaign against breast cancer; receives pat on the back from ZAK

Hyderabad: Every year lakhs of women die due to breast cancer across the globe. The main reason behind this is lack of awareness among women regarding the fatal disease. Similar trend prevails in India too. Women feel embarrassed to undergo screening. This was revealed by a young student Mohammed Faizan while addressing to the audience of Breast Cancer Awareness Programme conducted at Al-Noor High School, Mahboob Nagar.

Mohammed Faizan of Hyderabad is a student of VII class, at a private school in Dubai. He takes part in welfare activities of the society thanks to the motivation he got from his father Shafi Ahmed and Farzana Begum. Two years ago he was presented prestigious award by Govt. of Dubai for his remarkable academic performance.

Faizan launched ‘Protect Your Mom’ campaign at Al-Noor High school, Mahboob Nagar and told the students that they can alert their mothers regarding breast cancer. They can persuade them for screening. If cancer is detected at early stage, the disease is curable.

The young crusader called on Siasat editor Mr. Zahid Ali Khan along with his parents. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan lauded his efforts.
