Yanamala hopes Pawan will attend Amaravathi function

Hyderabad: Amid reports that Jana Sena president and actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan may skip the Amaravathi program due to his scheduled shooting program, AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu expressed hope that the former will definitely attend the foundation laying ceremony for new capital of the State.

Yanamala today visited Nizamabad district where his party district party leaders handed over mud of Neelakanteshwara Swami temple and Nizamsagar to Yanamala.

Speaking on the occasion, Yanamala said foundation laying ceremony is being organized as an historic event for people of Andhra Pradesh. The minister said the decision of YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was being criticized by his own party leaders as he has decided not to attend the Amaravathi function.

On the occasion, Yanmala worshiped Goddess Gnana Saraswati at Basara in Adilabad district. He performed special puja along with his family members. He also performed “Aksharabhyasam” to his grand daughter in the temple mandapam.(NSS)
