World urged to honour Paris victims with climate deal

Paris: Negotiators observed a minute’s silence today for the 130 victims of the November 13 Paris attacks on the eve of a summit aimed at averting a climate disaster.

“The best way to honour the memory of those who have fallen, those who are victims of barbaric attacks, is to carry out what we have committed to,” co-chair of the talks, Ahmed Djoghlaf, told participants in Paris.
