Won’t allow Metro Rail via Sultan Bazar: Building owners

The Sultan Bazar Building Owners’ Association (SBBOA) has demanded that the TRS government divert the Metro Corridor-2 through Sultan Bazar Market Road.

The Association has been formed on Sunday at Sultan Bazar Association Office with 54 building owners. Speaking to the media later, SBBOA Chairman Balkishan Bunkwala and president Sudheer Kumar reminded that they organized several agitations in 2011 against the Metro Rail route through Sultan Bazar.  Making it clear that not a single building owner was in favour of Metro Rail through Sultan Bazar road and there was no truth in the news published in newspapers that they favoured Metro Rail, the SBBOA warned the State government that they would obstruct the Metro Rail construction through Sultan Bazar at any cost.

SBBOA vice-president Gyani, P Raj Yadav, general secretary Pandu Ranga, treasurer Naresh Agarwal, co-treasurer Vishnu Sharadha, joint secretaries J D Mahender Singh, K Anil Kumar, Chief Advisor Chimanlal Gala, Vasudev, executive members Mukesh Agarwal, Dhanraj Yadav, Tanku Srinivas, Susheel, Saroj Agarwal, Praveen, Karmani, Sharif, Chandrakanth Agarwal, Harish Kumar Arjane, Sunil Baliram and G Narsing Rao attended the meeting.
