Woman posing as doctor to impress boyfriend nabbed at Gandhi hospital

Hyderabad, July 08: A 33 year old woman’s attempt to impress her boyfriend by posing as a staff nurse ended up as a cheating case. Police register a case of cheating against her.

According to police M Shivani from Karmanghat, told her boyfriend that she was a staff nurse at Gandhi Hospital, and was earning Rs 25,000 per month.

Determined to get married to him, Shivani used to call him to the hospital and have tea at the canteen. She used to hang around at the hospital till he leaves,” said SI.

Balakrishna.Shivani, whose husband died one and a half years ago, had been living alone. She had met Akhil, a fruit vendor at Dilsukhnagar, a few months ago and started a relationship.

Going by her appearance and unfamiliarity, security personnel grew suspicious. Shivani scolded them when the security personnel demanded her details. Following a complaint from the hospital superintendent Chilkalguda Police coming into action arrested her.

She confessed to the police that she was impersonating as a staff nurse to impress her boyfriend. The Police registered cases cases against her under IPC section 419, and 420, for cheating.
