New Delhi:Four unidentified assailants riding two bikes today shot at a woman at her jewellery shop in southeast Delhi and robbed some ornaments and cash.
The incident, which was caught on CCTV camera installed at the store, happened at around 11.30 AM at Sari Julena area, police said.
Police said that the accused panicked and fired in her leg when the woman raised alarm. They fled leaving one of their bikes behind when locals started gathering.
Policemen, who rushed the woman to the hospital, are now analysing CCTV footage to identify the criminals.
“An FIR under section of robbery has been registered and a man hunt has been launched to nab them,” an officer said.
