A woman home guard committed suicide due to financial crunch. The incident occurred under Madhapur police station limits where 38-year-old Subamma resorted to extreme step and consumed poison. She was the wife of Raju R/O Madhapur. The woman was suffering from acute financial crunch. She was reportedly worried over lack of money to get her daughter married. On August 14 she consumed poison and died on Monday while undergoing treatment.
