Denied entry into the Telangana Secretariat to meet Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, a woman attempted suicide near the Secretariat here on Tuesday.
According to sources, the woman has been identified as Archana. She wanted to meet the Chief Minister to seek his help to overcome the financial crisis that she has been facing. However, the security personnel did not allow her to enter the Secretariat. Upset with denial of permission, she consumed some pesticides which she brought along with her.
The security personnel immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital for treatment. (INN)
