‘Will solve Vyapam scam cases with utmost sincerity’: CBI Director

New Delhi, July 17:Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director Anil Sinha on Friday assured that there would be sincere investigation in the cases related to the Vyapam scam.

He added that the CBI is aware about the expectations and trust of the people as well as the Supreme Court.

“We will be registering all the FIRs. We are conscious with the expectation of the people and we are also equally conscious for the trust that the honorable Supreme Court has put in us. I can only say that our investigation will be full proof. We will be investigating it with utmost sincerity and to the best of our capability. We will be leaving no stones on that count,” Sinha said.

“We will investigate the cases within the manner that has been given to the CBI by the honorable Supreme Court. Our job is to investigate and submit our reports to the court and that we will do to the satisfaction of the court, “he added.

The CBI chief further claimed that three more cases have been registered today in connection with the Vyapam scam

The CBI has constituted a special team of 40 officers, headed by a Joint Director-level officer, to probe the scam.

The Supreme Court had last week transferred all cases relating to the Vyapam scam to the CBI. (ANI)
