Will exert pressure on Centre: KK

TRS leader Kesava Rao today said that the party MPs will pull up the Centre on state issues in Parliament session from Nov 26. Addressing a press conference at the party office along with B Vinod Kumar and Jithender Reddy he said that they will mount pressure on the Centre in the session and expeditious steps to fulfill the demands. He was critical that the Centre is yet to keep its promise of bifurcation issues. The division of the high court, officials and national status to the Pranahita Chevella project are still pending he said. We will ask the Centre Rs 500 cr towards drought assistance he said. The leaders criticized the Centre for showing partiality to the state with regard to allocation of houses to the poor. (NSS)
