New Delhi, July 17:The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday alleged that West Bengal has become a ‘ jihadi-hub’ after the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) Government came to power, adding that terror activities, money laundering and crime against young women is on a rise in the state.
“Ever since TMC government came to power in West Bengal, it has become a jihadi hub….Their activities have spread to three areas. First is money laundering, second is terror activities, and third is that there are many cases of young girls being kidnapped,” BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh told media persons here.
“When it comes to money laundering and fake currencies, fake currency worth around Rs. 65 lakh was recovered, which was being printed in Malda and Kolkata. Now the case is being investigated by NIA,” he added. (ANI)
