Hyderabad : Congress Spokesman, Shravan Kumar told that the Muslims do not want Iftar Parties but they want 12% reservations. He was addressing a press conference yesterday at Gandhi Bhavan at Hyderabad. He reminded that Mr. KCR had promised that in case he gets power, he would provide 12% reservation to Muslims within four months. TRS has completed 14 months of its power but it did not fulfill the promise. In the Iftar Party held last year, TRS had promised 12% reservation to Muslims but no action has been taken so far.
TRS Govt. is trying to divert the attention of the Muslims from 12% reservations by hosting Iftar Party and distributing cloths. By wearing Sherwani and feeding Biryani, Mr. KCR is deceiving the Muslims.
He expressed surprise that Mr. Asad Owaisi who is supporting TRS is keeping quiet. He did not make any representation for providing 12% reservation to Muslims. Hyderabad city has been transformed into a big dustbin during pious month of Ramazan which is causing disturbance to the Muslims in offering prayers. He hoped that people would teach a lesson to TRS in the next elections of GHMC.
