London: A shocking video shows a man allegedly pushes a woman wearing a hijab into an oncoming Tube train in London.
In the CCTV footage, the accused, Yoshiyuki Shinohara, the pensioner in his 80’s approached the woman from behind before pushing her towards an underground train.
After being shoved, she bounced off the front of the driver’s door at the front of the train and flung back on the platform by the force of the train.
Medicos from the London Ambulance Service attended the woman who miraculously escaped with minor injuries including cuts to her face. She has been hospitalised for further treatment.
The incident took place at Piccadilly Circus tube station’s Bakerloo line platforms after 4pm on Tuesday November 10.
Shinohara was detained at the scene and charged on suspicion of attempted murder.
