Voonik launches desktop site to attract larger customer base

New Delhi, Nov 19 : Personal shopping app for women, Voonik announced the launch of its new desktop site with With tremendous growth through the app-only strategy, Voonik is now set to offer its customer base with a multi-channel experience.

Launched in August 2014, Voonik grew on the fast growth curve, lower user acquisition costs and a personalized shopping experience that left its competitors triggered.

Voonik offers an assortment of over 15 lakh products while other women-focused e-commerce apps have less than 2 lakh items. The Voonik app is the largest player in the space of women-centric fashion in terms of market share and records the highest engagement in the e-commerce industry.

Sujayath Ali, CEO and Co-Founder, Voonik, said, “Voonik is now doing 10,000 orders a day and this will increase to 15,000 in a month after our desktop launch and we are aiming for 20,000 daily orders by January. While the other e-commerce companies are switching to an app-only strategy, we at Voonik think we are moving closer to our user base by providing them access to a personalized store across multiple platforms.”

“We have the highest conversion rate in the industry for our app and we expect to get the highest conversion on desktop as well,” added Ali.

According to a Google India research, every third shopping search from India on the world’s largest search engine is fashion related and the queries in the category are growing at 66 percent year-on-year.

Desktop commerce will benefit from these growing trends and Voonik aims to make the best of it with its renewed focus on this channel. With big e-commerce stores moving away from desktop, Voonik will be rightly poised to delight women users with the largest catalogue of products and an engaging experience across different platforms.
