Warangal encounter, in which two persons were killed, is drawing flak from leaders in the State.
Former Congress MP and actress Vijayashanthi today lashed out at TRS Government for indulging in fake encounters in Telangana State. Speaking to the media here, she alleged that the TRS which came to power to implement Maoists agenda was suppressing them with iron hand. Though the government changed in the region, aggression by government did not stop, she alleged.
MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga also took serious exception to the encounter. He said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao deceived people by this fake encounter. He also charged the TRS Government with failing to keep its promise of implementing Maoists agenda and instead killing them in fake encounters. “Youth in the State are joining the Maoists as they are vexed with the “anti-people” policies of the government. The people will teach the TRS Government a lesson”, he warned. (NSS)
