Video: Three Indians beaten brutally by Saudi employer, tortured youths to return from Saudi Arabia

New Delhi: Amid reports that three men from Kerala were beaten by their Saudi employer after they were coned by a placement agency and sent to Saudi Arabia, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday said they have been given police protection and the matter will be followed up.

According to reports, three men got conned by a placement agency, which gave false job promises and sent them to Saudi Arabia, where they were allegedly attacked by their employer.

In response to the reports, Swaraj tweeted, “We have approached the police and got them police protection. We will follow this up.”

Three Indian youths, who were allegedly physically tortured by their employer in Saudi Arabia, will return to India within a week, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said on Thursday.

A video recorded by one of the youths and circulating on WhatsApp shows their Saudi employer beating them with a wooden plank.
