Karachi: Pakistani reporter Chand Nawab, who shot to fame after a video clip of his flubs while recording a piece-to-camera went viral, was allegedly roughed up at the Karachi railway station by railway officials and police.
A video of Nawab being beaten up went viral on social media, and became a trending topic on twitter in Pakistan reported Zee News.
Nawab and his colleagues were covering a story on the alleged black marketing of train tickets ahead of Eid holidays.
According to Hindustan Times, Sindh minister Nisar Khuhro had taken notice of the incident and ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Nawab was the inspiration for Nawazuddin siddiqui’s character in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
