New York: Popular American filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola speaking at a press conference at the 15th Marrakech International Film Festival (MIFF) defended Islam with quotes from the Holy Qur’an in a touching way, Morocco World News reported.
The American filmmaker takes the microphone to quote the Qur’an, specifically Surah Al Fatiha emphasizing the message of peace, mercy, tolerance and love advocated by the Holy Book.
“If you know the Qur’an, the first words are: In the name of God, the Gracious and the Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Master of the Book of Judgement,” Coppola quoted.
