At the launch of the new campus of Bathinda Central University in Bathinda district , HRD minister Smriti Irani and Food processing minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal decided to get on the stage with students who were performing a dance and show off some of their own skills.
Both of them could not resist to the foot-tapping giddha (a traditional folk dance of Punjabi women) and danced to the hilt. Both Irani and Badal were smiling; and they even managed a few more steps with an official on stage.
We’ve seen the ministers in Parliament fiercely arguing their points, at public rallies confidentially giving speeches. But it turns out they’re a match made in heaven on the dance floor as well.
The audience in the college auditorium enjoyed the dance of the ministers. Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was also present at the event.
