Video: Bernie Sanders, US Presidential candidate teaches Republicans a lesson on how to respect Muslim and end racism in America

Contrary to Republican Presidential Candidates, Bernie Sanders stands against of Islamophobia and racism in America. In his recent address to the students, when a Muslim student in Hijab raised the question of rising incidents of Islamophobia in America, he said that he will do everything to end racism in America. He also said that politician plays divide and rule policy by making white against black, men against women, Christian against Muslim. “My stand is to build nation where all stand together as one people”, he added.

The longest-serving independent in U.S. Congressional history, Sanders caucuses with the Democratic Party and has been the ranking on the Senate Budget Committee since January 2015.

 

He is a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Sanders announced his intention to seek the Democratic Party’s nomination for president on April 30, 2015, in an address on the Capitol lawn. His campaign was officially launched on May 26, 2015, in Burlington.
