New Delhi: Known for his role in ‘Ajooba,’ actor Saeed Jaffrey passed away at the age of 86. His niece Shaheen Aggarwal confirmed the news through a Facebook post.
Sharing the tragic news, Shaheen posted, “Today, a generation of Jaffreys has passed away. Saeed Jaffrey has joined his brothers and sister and is rejoicing in the lap of his Heavenly Father, eternally. The entire Jaffrey Family bids you, “adieu”, you beautiful, beautiful man See you in heaven!” along with various pictures of the actor.
Shaheen has been posting various clips and interviews of Saeed since then.
Details of Saeed’s death are still awaited.
Jaffrey was best known for his roles in films like ‘Dil,’ ‘Kishan Kanhaiya,’ ‘Ghar Ho Toh Aisa,’ ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat’ and ‘Aunty No 1.’ (ANI)
