Vadra’s ‘political tool’ comment reflects his fear: BJP

New Delhi: Taking a jibe at Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra’s remark that he is being used as a ‘political tool’, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said the comment indicates that the former is extremely scared.

“Robert Vadra’s comment indicates that he is extremely scared,” said BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.

Vadra, whose land deals are being probed in the BJP-ruled states of Haryana and Rajasthan, earlier today said that a distinction should be made between him as an individual conducting business like anyone else.

Vadra alleged that the BJP was using attacks on him as a ‘political tool to divert public attention’.

The Congress president’s son-in-law further said in an interview that he has always conducted business transparently in accordance with the law but he was being ‘singled out’ and ‘lies’ were spread about him. (ANI)
