Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy has accused the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre and TRS Government in the State of encouraging communal politics in the country.
Addressing the ‘Kranti Diwas’ celebration, held at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday, to mark the anniversary of Quit India Movement, Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that both BJP and TRS have been indulging and promoting communalism. He said both the governments have failed to fulfill the promises they made with the people during elections.

Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy, Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao, MLA G Chinna Reddy, Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president D Nagender, ex-MP M Anjan Kumar Yadav, Mahila Congress president N Sharada and other leaders also participated in the function.
