A California state worker was caught on video making anti-Islamic slurs and throwing coffee and an umbrella at a group of Muslim men who had been praying at San Francisco Bay Area Park.
In the video, Denise Slader is seen saying that “Allah is evil” before launching herself onto one of the men filming her.
East Bay Regional Park district spokeswoman Carolyn Jones says the district’s police officers were forwarding their investigation to the district attorney’s office for review, according to the report on Wednesday.
In the video, Slader stands with her purse, umbrella and a cup of coffee, saying “you people have tortured” others. Rasheed Albeshari on whom the women throw the coffee told that they were “brainwashed for believing in Allah.”
“The people you tortured are going to be in eternity and heaven. You are very deceived by Satan. Your mind has been taken over, brainwashed and you have nothing but hate,” slader was further recorded saying.
Slader’s actions at Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley were captured on video and posted on Facebook by Albeshari.
He believes Slader’s actions were possibly fueled by the shooting rampage in San Bernardino and Donald Trump’s comments about Muslims.
