Hyderabad: Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily told that noted Humour Writer, Mr. Mujtaba Husain got Universal applause on account of his writings. He enriched thousands of his readers with insights. He was address a gathering at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall convened for the inauguration of Mujtaba Husain’s website www.mujtabahussain.com . He had started his humour writings on 12th August 1962 by writing first column for Siasat Urdu Daily. Later his sketches, interviews and Articles were published in Indian, Pakistani, American and London journals. There is no Urdu writer who has contributed so much through his writings.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that Siasat Urdu Daily has made an attempt to pay tribute to its noted writer. Siasat has plans to prepare a website consisting of selected Articles published in Siasat Urdu Daily right from its beginning so that its reader should the political, social and economic issues of that period. He further told that Siasat’s e-paper is read in 170 countries of the world. With a presence of people from all walks of life shows that Mujtaba Husain is popular with one and all. He advised the Urdu lovers to love Urdu as they love their mother. Mr. Asghar Ali Khan designed the website after four years continuous work. It contains 6500 pages and more than 400 photographs.
On this occasion, Mr. Mujtaba Husain readout his article “Lo Aaj Hum Bhi Saheb-e-Awlad Ho Gaye” which received largest applause. In an emotional fervour, Mr. Husain told that he has deep relationship with Siasat Urdu Daily. He thanked Siasat Urdu Daily for preparing this website. Prof. S.A. Shukoor Director, Urdu Academy told that Mujtaba Husain’s articles are included in the University syllabus. Dr. Syed Mustafa Kamal congratulated Siasat Urdu Daily for preparing this website. Prof. Baig Ehsas, told that Mr. Mujtaba Husain has glorified the city of Hyderabad in the entire world map through his writings. Mr. Abid Siddiqui conducted the meeting. Present on this occasion were, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Ms. Qamar Jamal, Mr. Aziz Pasha, former M.P., Dr. Ashraf Rafi, Dr. Majeed Bedar and others.
