Telangana government has decided to convert Urdu computer centres and libraries into Minorities Training Centres. The responsibility of overseeing Computer Centres and Libraries has been given to Telangana Minority Finance Corporation. Presently both the institutions were under Director Minority Welfare but due to non performance of the institutions, government has decided to transfer them to Minority Finance Corporation.

Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel issued orders in this connection and directed Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation to take over 43 Computer Training centres. He told that a total of 43 computer centres and 30 libraries run in Telangana. The number of employees working under them is 178. He told that he plans to modernise the libraries and computer centres as all the centres are working for namesake.
