Hyderabad: According to a press note issued by Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Secretary of Telangana and A.P. Urdu Academy, applications are invited from the Urdu teachers from A.P. and Telangana State for the award of best Urdu Teacher. He further told that Urdu Academy will award one best Urdu teacher from primary, upper-primary, high school, junior college, Degree College, University teacher and Unani Medical teacher from each of these categories. In addition to these awards, an Urdu Calligrapher will also be selected for award.
Giving the details of the award, Prof. Shukoor told that a teacher who has put in five years service is eligible for this award. Interested teachers may forward their applications through their headmasters and countersign by DEOs. University teachers may submit their applications attested by Principal, Dean or Registrar.
Calligraphers who have passed any examination and have been working as calligrapher teacher in any institution may also submit their applications.
Proforma of application can be had from the office of Urdu Academy, Hajj House, Nampally, Hyderabad or the offices of District Minorities Welfare Officers of Telangana State. Candidates who have been awarded earlier are not eligible for this award.
