In a counter to Telangana Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao, his AP counterpart Devineni Uma-Maheshwara Rao today asked the former not to politicise the issue and suggested that problems could be solved by negotiations across table.
Devineni faulted Harish Rao for commenting on the Krishna river water needlessly. “We will release water from the Krishna Delta in the third week of August. Both States should utilize Krishna river by mutual cooperation and strive to protect interests of farmers of both the States, he added. (NSS)
