Two women among three commit suicide

Hyderabad, July 10 (INN): The inability to repay the housing loan drove a woman to suicide.

According to Jeedimetla police, the deceased, J Pushpalatha, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Subhash Nagar on Friday morning. Following dispute with her husband Shankar, Pushpalatha was living separately. She reportedly took bank loan to purchase a new house. However, she was unable to repay the loan which consequently drove her to suicide.

In another case, P Pushakala, 24, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Parvatha Nagar on Thursday night. She was married to one Srisailam of West Godavari district in January this year. A few months after the marriage she returned to her parents house in Parvatha Nagar of Madhapur for job. Loneliness is suspected to have driven her to suicide, according to Madhapur.

In a different case, a 22-year-old student committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train. The incident occurred between Fateh Nagar and Nature Cure stations on Thursday night. The Nampally Railway Police later identified the deceased as K Chinna Narayana, a native of Guttapadu of Kurnool district. The reasons that drove him to suicide are yet to be ascertained. (INN)
