Two underground cadres – husband and wife – of CPI (ML-New Democracy) today surrendered before police in Khammam district of Telangana.

G Ravi and his wife Rajeswari, both UG cadres of the Left-wing party, surrendered before Khammam Superintendent of Police in Yellandu town of the district, police said.

“The couple voluntarily surrendered before police. They were UG cadres of the Left party for the past-one-and-half- years. They had ideological differences with the party high command and came out of the party,” Yellandu Police Station SHO Narender said.

Ravi also wanted his wife to continue her degree (B.Com) studies, the SHO said.
