A 17-year-old student committed suicide in Chaderghat police limits on Monday.
The deceased, Md Wajid, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Wahed Nagar. The reasons that led him to suicide are yet to be ascertained.
In a similar incident, Rajashekar Reddy, 20, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Lal Bahadur Colony on Sunday night. He was a degree student and the fear of failing in exam is suspected to have driven him to suicide, according to Jeedimetla police.
In a separate case, K. Prasida, 35, of Chilkalguda, committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems. She took the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence on Sunday night. She was a tailor and was facing severe financial problems, according to Chilkalguda police. (INN)
