Two persons were arrested by the She Teams for harassing a married woman.
According to Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime and SIT, Hyderabad, the accused Md. Mujeeb, 24, and Md. Afzal, 25, G.M Chowni, Falaknuma were allegedly harassing a married woman by sending abusive messages and calling her frequently. They also allegedly made calls to her husband. Fed up with their atrocious behaviour, the victim and her husband lodged a Whatsapp complaint to the SHE Teams. The accused were arrested and produced before the court which sentenced them to three days’ imprisonment and fine of Rs 250 each.
In another case, five persons — Syed Shah Hasan alias Shah, 18, a student of Tolichowki and four other minors were teasing and harassing women at the I-Max theatre. They were caught red handed by the SHE Teams with the video evidence. The principal accused was arrested and produced in the Court while the remaining four minor boys were counselled along with their parents. (NSS)
