A car driver committed suicide in inebriated condition in Jeedimetla police limits.
The deceased, K. Kondal Reddy, 25, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Chandranagar Colony on Monday night.
In another case, S. Lakshmi, 49, succumbed to the injuries which she sustained after jumping down from Secretariat flyover bridge near Katta Maisamma Temple side. She resorted to the extreme step on Monday evening and was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where she died a few hours after admission. She was a sweeper in GHMC, according to Chikkadpally police.
The reasons for suicide in both the cases are yet to be ascertained. (INN)
