A 47-year-old man was killed on the spot after he was hit by a train while he was crossing the tracks.
The incident occurred between Kachiguda and Malakpet Railway Station on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as Syed Sabir, a resident of Paltan, Malakpet.
In another case, an unidentified woman of about 40 years was killed after getting hit by a train between Jamia Nagar and Vidya Nagar stations on Thursday night. The Kachiguda Railway Police have preserved the body at the Omania General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem and identification. (INN)
