Two injured in separate incidents in Greater Noida

Greater Noida: An auto driver was shot at and a teenage boy stabbed in two separate incidents in the city today, police said.

Auto driver Mohd Azad was allegedly shot at in Dadri area near a canal at Chithera.

He suffered a bullet injury in the back and was admitted to a hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.

An FIR has been lodged against one Virendra, who allegedly shot at Azad when he had refused to take him in the auto, said SHO Hom Singh Yadav.

In another incident, a 14-year-old boy was stabbed allegedly by his cousin at Chipiyana area.

Yogesh was allegedly stabbed by Kishore after the duo had had an altercation over some issue.

Yogesh has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi and an FIR has been lodged at Bisrakh police station.

The accused was absconding till late night today, said SHO Ashwini Kumar.
